The Storm Begins
The sky turned dark as the storm approached. Marcos and Sofia were on the boat. They were nervous but determined to continue.
The waves grew higher, crashing against the boat. “We must stay calm,” said Marcos.
Seeking Shelter
The storm was now above them. They needed to find shelter. Sofia pointed to a small island nearby.
They steered the boat towards the island, fighting the waves. The boat shook with each wave.
On the Island
They reached the island safely. The rain poured down, soaking them. They felt both relief and fear.
Marcos checked their map, seeking clues. The ancient treasure was close, but danger was near.
A Gloomy Decision
The storm worsened. Sofia felt they should turn back, but Marcos hesitated. The treasure was important to him.
After a deep breath, Marcos decided. “I will go alone,” he said gently. Sofia nodded, trusting his choice.
